The Milwaukee collective known as Don Life dropped off a short mixtape to bring in the new year, and they, like many, are determined to have a big 2017. Prophet, Sonie B, Rvy $teez, Lil Purp, Grizzly, and Lvrd Teague have all made their way to our radar recently, but on the collective project, we get to hear them all in one way or another. Lvrd Teague wasted no time ushering in 2017, dropping a new track, “BestFrand” on New Year’s Eve. As Drake has proved to us, any track that begins with some random girl’s voicemail is going to be fire afterward, and this is no different. The song also features contributions from Rvy $teez and Water.Lo, who also produced the track. With a consistent string of drops lately, Lvrd Teague is definitely determined to make a name for himself heading into the new year.
