Experimental composer Mike Neumeyer has another new track out recently, and he’s exploring sonically with “Neumerical Patterns.” The track is a bright, plucky one built around a simple movement, but the notes gradually start to hold out longer, creating a more open, flowing feel. An expert in creating a soundscape using just his percussion, tracks like these can feel playful, yet still make you feel emotion as they go along. It’s often not easy to convey as much as he does using just his instrument, and you can hear that for yourself on the track below:
