Wave Chapelle is definitely up to something. Last week, Wave dropped a new single and video, with the extra-tough “New Wave”. Produced by Montage, the track features an intriguing vocal sample, and Chapelle goes over the top with some of his most lyrical flows yet. While the flex is still in full force on his verses, there’s definitely a conscious effort to bring more bars into his sound, and that’s a good change of pace to see. We’ve heard that Wave is in the studio currently, so we’ll see what comes next for him. For right now, check out “New Wave” below:
