AUDIO: Mark Adams Son Of Bill – “Living In The Shit Age”

If you’ve been desperately craving a solid, in your face, alternative rock album, the latest from Mark Adams Son of Bill is here to fix your appetite. “Living In The Shit Age” has a very distinctive early 90’s grunge sound to it, with a brash, take-no-prisoners attitude from a production standpoint. You can’t help but think of bands like Nirvana and Soundgarden, but it’s refreshing to hear a modern expansion on that sound, complete with unique instrumental breaks and other elements that wouldn’t be on those previously mentioned bands’ records. There’s also things like the 11-minute epic “I Don’t Wanna Be Here Really” that feel like this is creatively gritty, but capable of being much more.
