The artist formerly known as Wanderslut has moved on to a more radio-friendly name, Murphy Kaye, and has a new heartfelt single, “Headlong,” out today. The song is about the importance of companionship, especially when things look bleak. Sonically, this is a new direction for Gabby Powell from Ako, as we get more synth elements mixing with acoustic guitars and her pristine melodies. There’s a lot of finding things out happening for Powell as an artist, and “Headlong” is just the first step in another new direction. Check out the single below:
