Holy woah. Everyone needs to check out Gerald Walker’s newest video. From his upcoming mixtape, “The Other Half Of Letting Go”, this track is heavily anticipated. Xavier Ruffin is light years ahead of everyone else (including myself) in Milwaukee when it comes to videos as well. I’ll gladly admit that. Very, very cool. Watch:

Gerald Walker is one of my favorite artists, so I was more than pleased when I found out he was doing an EP with Cardo of the Taylor Gang, who produced Wiz Khalifa’s “Mesmerized”. There’s also production from Sledgren, another Taylor Gang producer. I finally got a chance to listen to it all the way through today in my car, and I really like it. You should download it and listen to it in your car, too. Or on some headphones, or at the dentist’s office… anywhere, really. Click the picture or right here to download the EP.
Around this time last year, I was in my backyard shoveling, just like I’m about to do after I write this post, when I turned on “Gerald Walker’s Evening Out With Your Girlfriend” for the first time. I was hooked by the sound Gerald has developed as his own and became a big fan of his music. This year, Gerald dropped a 5 song Christmas gift, entitled “A Gerald Walker Christmas”. There’s solid production and lyrics all the way through this EP, and I’d highly recommend that you find a way to download it. Oh wait! It’s right underneath this sentence!
