VIDEO: Illie – “My Only Friend”

Hip hop artist Illie dropped another video recently. Shot by EsGee Films and produced by ZoRo, the visual finds Illie in a phone booth pouring his heart out about friends becoming enemies and only trusting himself at the end of the day. But hey, it’s not all bad – Illie is shown ordering food from a taco truck, reflecting that he’s still enjoying the little things because life goes on. Illie acts the bigger person with “My Only Friend.”

VIDEO: Illie Featuring Munch Lauren – “She A Mess”

Illie continues to roll out new music, and he brings a big collaboration to the strip club for the video and single “She A Mess.” The track doesn’t mince words; the song is about a girl in a club that the guys have their eyes on. The visuals from EsGee Films are fit for BET Uncut, with both artists throwing their fair share of singles to some girls while performing the song. Munch Lauren does what he does best here as well, rapping about girls with a swagger all his own. It’s just one facet of Illie’s game, but he proves he can hang with production tailor made for the strip club on “She A Mess.” Check out the video below:

VIDEO: GP El Magico – “El Chavo”

South Side artist GP El Magico dropped a new single and video recently. The video is shot by EsGee Films and directed by Sergio Soprano, finding El Magico hanging out with kids in the classroom and identifying himself with El Chavo. He raps about coming from the bottom of the barrel but now being the best at what he does, asserting himself as someone you don’t want to get on the bad side of. Despite the fierceness of El Magico’s demeanor here, it’s wholesome to see him having fun with the youth and giving kids an opportunity to just be themselves with a fun production.

VIDEO: GP El Magico – “Como Yo Quisiera”

It may be the dead of winter, but GP El Magico keeps things warm with the summertime-sounding “Como Yo Quisiera.” The song is about wanting someone back in your life, and GP makes that longing sound good with a reggaeton beat behind his pleas to turn things around. The video from EsGee Films leaves the artist out in the cold, quite literally, as he performs the song, and eventually we see El Magico looking for his way back into his ex’s life at the back patio. The song can make you dance away the pain for just a little bit, and you can experience it for yourself with the video here below:

Illie’s latest video is shot by Esgee Films. The hip hop artist is excited about reaching new levels in his career so he’s ready to party. With dedication and a good head on his shoulders, Illie overcame difficult circumstances to get to where he’s at now and he’s determined to put on for Milwaukee now that he’s made it. Produced by ZoRo, the song is about looking at how far you’ve come with gratitude. Stay tuned for what Illie’s got in store for 2022.

Illie has been upping his game this year, and he links up with Sofrito Rd. for a new single and video, “Mi Destino.” Entirely in Spanish, the song is about hustling and running the city until you get what is owed to you. Both artists have a commanding presence on their verses, and the beat from LouiEmber Beats hits with just the right amount of low end to rattle some trunks. The clip from EsGee Films features the guys flexing with their family and their cars, two of the things both artists take pride in off the microphone. VIDEO: Hektik Featuring C-Mill$ – “Music & Dope”

Hektik & C-Mill$ recently released a strong video for their collaborative track, “Music & Dope”, which came out this past February. Centered around a bright, twinkling beat, the pair of acts bring the heat, with street-ready flows over some trap drums. Plain and simple, the track hits hard, and has all the makings of a street anthem. The video from EsGee Films takes us inside a lit studio session, with both artists putting in work. Illie has a new collaboration with GP El Magico out, and the two recently linked up for the video to “Rack Daddy.” The single has some bounce in the production, with each artist flexing freely about the money they’re making and what it can make people do. The video from EsGee Films is just as much of a flex, with the crew styled out in money suits and throwing plenty of blue faces. VIDEO: GP EL Magico Featuring Sypher Lady X – “Can’t Wait”

GP El Magico has a new video out, collaborating once again with Sypher Lady X for heartfelt new track, “Can’t Wait.” The track is about losing someone close to you, and wanting that person back in your life, which after the pandemic, is a feeling that many people are experiencing right now. Over a piano-laden beat, the two artists trade parts, with Magico holding down the bars in Spanish on the verses, and Sypher Lady X providing the hook and a melodic verse of her own to bring things home. It’s a heartfelt track, and another display of both artists’ talent sets. Check out the video below:

VIDEO: GP El Magico – “Killin’ It”

In the last few months, GP El Magico has dropped an array of singles and videos, each with a unique style, ranging from conscious commentary on life on Milwaukee’s south side to more street-ready trap flows. He opts for the latter on his new release, “Killin’ It”, a track that flexes all over anyone who doubts what he does as an artist. Armed with piano-laden beats, GP has a confidence that is all his own on the track, letting the beat do much of the work, which can work if done properly. The performance clip from collaborator EsGee Films is clean as always, with GP hitting the streets for the track. VIDEO: Hektik – “Boffum”

The south side has a reason to stand up again, as Hektik is back with a new video and single, “Boffum”. The track is produced by Curse, and Hek brings some boss level flexes to his verses. The video from EsGee Films is clean as well, with Hektik not even having to leave the house to provide a solid clip for the internet. Hektik has been steadily improving his craft with just about every release that he’s put out as of late. We’ll be watching for more from him, and you can check out the video for “Boffum” below:

VIDEO: GP El Magico – “Hell Of A Life”

After a couple of more serious releases, GP El Magico is back with a new single and video, and keeps things light with a flex-filled track in “Hell Of A Life”. Blending Spanish and English, the Milwaukee artist manages to touch on his upbringing, as well as the artist he’s grown to become, putting it all in perspective. It’s a track that can definitely rattle trunks in the streets, and further showcases the range from GP El Magico as an artist and emcee. VIDEO: Hektik & Mic Santos – “Jesus”

As of late, South Side emcee Hektik has been putting people on notice with some top-notch work, and his latest, “Jesus” with Mic Santos falls right in line with that. Produced by Curse, the track brings a lot of low end, complemented by some bright keys and a haunting vocal sample. Hek throws the bars around like it’s nothing, and Mic Santos compliments his style with an expert flow. The video from EsGee Films is strong as well, positioning the two rappers in a bombed out church or behind some evil looking red lights.
