Singer/songwriter Jabril Yousef has a new song out, and it’s about not having to conform to standards. “Boxes” is an inspiring track that blends acoustic guitar with breakbeat-sounding percussion, and has a tremendous amount of pop appeal to it. Much like the song’s lyrics, the sound of “Boxes” pulls pieces of pop, Americana, folk and more into one blend, rather than conforming to one specific genre.
