Goose Confirms Viva El Gonzo 2026 Lineup: My Morning Jacket, Cory Wong, LP Giobbi & More

The Connecticut-based jam band Goose has announced the return of their Viva El Gonzo festival to San José del Cabo, Mexico, scheduled for January 2026. The multi-day event will take place at the beachfront Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos.

My Morning Jacket will headline alongside Goose for the destination festival, marking their first appearance at the event. The Louisville rockers will perform multiple sets throughout the weekend.

Guitarist Cory Wong and DJ/producer LP Giobbi have been added to the 2026 roster. Additional performers include Neighbor, Magic City Hippies, and members of Goose performing their Vasudo side project.

The festival will span four nights from January 22-25, 2026. Packages include accommodation at the all-inclusive resort, access to all performances, and resort amenities including pools, restaurants, and beach access.

Viva El Gonzo launched in 2025 as Goose’s inaugural destination event. The band has hosted similar festivals in recent years, including Fred the Festival in Virginia and the Goosemas holiday shows.

Ticket packages go on sale Friday through Cloud 9 Adventures, the company organizing the event. Prices start at $2,100 per person for double occupancy rooms, with payment plans available.

The Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos features multiple stages that will host performances throughout each day and night. Past Cloud 9 Adventures events at the property have included themed pool parties, artist-led activities, and late-night DJ sets in addition to main stage performances.
