VIDEO: GhettoPoetry – “Big Dog”

Rapper GhettoPoetry has a new single and video out, and he’s not afraid to take it to the streets for “Big Dog.” The track has a beat that any hustler can nod along to, and the verses talk about hopping flights to pop up in different hoods all over the nation. The money is up, and the confidence is on an all-time high for GhettoPoetry. It’s brash, but he talks about coming up out of the basement, doing what he had to in order to get to this point, and keeping his movement going strong from block to block. Rapper GhettoPoetry has his first wide release single out, and he’s styling and profiling with “Ric Flair.” No amount of excess is spared on this track, with bars about clothes, cars, and women over a piano-laden beat. The flow is just as strong as his hustle, though, with a determination to go just a touch beyond contemporary trap, with just a few melodic elements strung into the mix as well. This is the first we’ve heard from GhettoPoetry, which means there’s definitely more on the way after a strong debut. Get your first listen to “Ric Flair” here below:
