It hasn’t been long since we heard Whaler’s record “Ad Hoc” but the project is already out with a new piece. This one is a single track of minimal, ambient noise. Francisco Ramirez makes use of desolate static in a way that feels hauntingly meditative. We love finding experimental artists playing with unconventional sounds, textures, and samples others wouldn’t think to make art out of – Whaler is a terrific example.
