Sometimes, songs just sound perfectly laid back for the summer. Cheapskate’s most recent release, “Day By Day”, is just that, complete with storytelling, and some smooth samples. The track is produced by Lean, who is having a major run this year locally. The whole style of the song feels delightedly retro, with a little bit of a 90’s flare to it.
