One of the marks of a true artist is being able to create anywhere. Last week, we received a text message from DayNAge that he, RubyGee, and Anto’Neyo were working on something new in Colorado with Annex and Competition. That being said, an email later, and we got our introduction to “#Pass”. The track takes a consciousness look at Milwaukee, and the world around the main artists, creating a visual that is hard to ignore. Lyrically, I feel as though DayNAge is heavily underrated, and you can hear that in his verse. This track is very much an exhibition for everyone involved, but it’s almost assured that nobody will listen to “#Pass” and go home unsatisfied.
