When asked what the song is about, the artist says, ‘When you step inside a new venue, new scenery, and you are the ‘flyest’, the highest and the most ‘vibey’ person there. I think my fans will connect to this song because of the sheer vulnerability of the track. Everybody can relate to not having time to deal with people.’ The single will also have a music video in the future, so fans should definitely look forward to that.
The artist’s sound can be described as a mix of southern melodic tones and hints of boom-bap and trap.
DonnieSTR says that his musical influences are Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake. Isaiah Rashad is a person the artist would like to collaborate with. Currently, DonnieSTR is listening to Sir.
The artist says that to create songs he only needs a beat. Then, he sits down, closes his eyes and gets into the zone.
