VIDEO: Neak – “Legacy”

Right now Chicago has a bevy of hip hop artists that are making quality music, and that remains true with the latest video from Neak, “Legacy”. With a beat that pulls from guitar lines and Beastie Boys samples, the track hits hard, and Neak brings a conscious flow that makes those looking for hip hop with substance smile. A crisp visual from APJ Films brings the whole piece together, with a performance clip all over the city Neak calls home. The veteran emcee has several projects out already, but his upcoming release, “KWESBAAR” is on the way soon. Check out the video for “Legacy” below:

VIDEO: C$ Featuring Breezy – “Glory”

Chicago’s C$ has been consistently hustling, and literally shows you that he’s ready to cash in for his title shot in his new video for “Glory”, featuring fellow Chicago artist Breezy. The track, featuring some epic sounding production, comes from C$’s “Moneywave” album, and is one of the standout tracks on the project. Both artists try to outdo each other with their verses, making for some impressive bars on the single. As the song tells you, the pair are coming to get their glory, and we’re hoping that they emerge from the crowded Chicago hip hop scene soon. Climb the ladder with C$ in the “Glory” video below:

VIDEO: ShowYouSuck – “All Wavy Everything”

You can’t hate on creativity or originality, and this video from ShowYouSuck definitely has both. Mixed with some trippy visuals by Aaron Perkins Jr. (APJ Films), and I’m assuming the internet or found footage festivals, this video is outside of the box and then some. It’s worth a couple watches to make sure that you get everything. Check it out:
