I really don’t get to do the WHAT?! segment of the blog as much as I should, but this seems like a good one, with two ridiculous things that really happened over the last few days.
Lil B Gave A Lecture at MIT
You didn’t misread that one. And it’s not a community college whose initials happen to be MIT, either. We’re talking the real-deal-Holyfield Ivy League college, MIT. You know, the school with 27 graduates that have won Nobel prizes, 47 Rhodes Scholars, and alumni that have formed over 25,000 companies. That same school let Lil B, AKA the Based God, with an album called “I’m Gay” and a crew known as the Bitch Mob, give a lecture to it’s students. Video below:

Waka Flocka Flame Sells Pine Brothers Cough Drops
Nobody is competing with Flocka’s lozenge game. Pine Brothers, makers of quality cough drops since 1870, now have a smoky commercial with the leader of the Brick Squad as their spokesman. And it aired nationally during the AMAs. With the enthusiastic delivery that only Waka Flocka Flame could provide, this is so left field that it actually makes sense somehow. The only thing that would’ve made it better is if he would’ve cleared his throat and yelled “SQUAAAADDD” at the end. Check out the spot below:
