Luke Bryan Drops “Signs” Album News on American Idol Finale — September 18 Release Now Available for Pre-Order

Leave it to Luke Bryan to turn the American Idol finale into his own personal album launch party. Tonight, after wrapping his ninth season as a celebrity judge, the five-time Entertainer of the Year pulled back the curtain on Signs, his brand-new studio album arriving September 18. Pre-orders are open right now, and if the first taste is any indication, this one is built for the cooler, the boat, and the back porch.

To kick things off, Luke performed “Fish Hunt Golf Drink” live on the broadcast — a title that pretty much doubles as Luke Bryan’s mission statement. Co-written by Luke alongside Chase McGill and Matt Dragstrem, and produced by Jeff Stevens and Jody Stevens, the track lands on every digital platform now.

“It is always a great day when I get the chance to release new music,” Luke said. “I’ve been working on this album for the past year, and I just love how it turned out. I was able to co-write a few, then turn to the writers in Nashville to round them out. I feel like my fans have always let me record songs that make you feel good, so I went into this album wanting everyone to just have fun.”

“Fish Hunt Golf Drink” is the third song Luke has dropped in the past two months, joining “Word On The Street” — also the name of his 2026 tour — and his climbing country radio single “Country And She Knows It.” In other words, the man is not slowing down.

Speaking of the road: the Word On The Street Tour officially launches May 29 and 30 with back-to-back nights in Gilford, New Hampshire at BankNH Pavilion before barreling through arenas, amphitheaters, and festivals across the country. Luke and Jason Aldean have also added four more stadium dates to their co-headlining Double Down Tour after their sold-out reunion in front of 63,000 fans at UGA’s Sanford Stadium. Openers across the run include Gavin Adcock, Dasha, Chase Matthew, Jon Pardi, Dylan Scott, and Lauren Watkins, with Dee Jay Silver and DJ Rock on every date.

And before any of that, Luke heads back to California for Farm Tour 2026 on May 15 and 16, continuing a tradition he started in 2009 that has now awarded 90 college scholarships to students from farming families. This year’s stops hit Clovis and Elk Grove, with Bayer and Fendt back on as sponsors.

Mark the calendar: Signs lands September 18. Pre-order now, queue up “Fish Hunt Golf Drink,” and start picking which of those four activities you’re tackling first.
