The 2026 DelFest has announced its lineup for the four-day festival scheduled for May 21-24 in Cumberland, Maryland. The Del McCoury Band will headline their namesake event alongside Alison Krauss & Union Station and Punch Brothers.
The festival returns to the Allegany County Fairgrounds for its annual celebration of bluegrass and roots music. Organizers confirmed the dates and initial performer announcements through social media and the festival website this morning.
Del McCoury, the legendary bluegrass musician and festival founder, will perform with his band during the Memorial Day weekend event. The group continues to tour nationally while maintaining DelFest as their signature gathering.
Alison Krauss & Union Station bring their Grammy-winning sound to the festival stage. The band last performed at DelFest in 2019 and returns after touring in support of their recent releases.
Punch Brothers join the roster with their progressive take on bluegrass and acoustic music. The Chris Thile-led ensemble has become a festival favorite across the country.
Additional performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as organizers finalize the schedule. Tickets go on sale Friday through the festival website, with camping packages and single-day passes available.
The festival typically draws thousands of attendees to western Maryland each year. Local businesses and hotels report increased bookings during the DelFest weekend, which has become a regional economic driver since its inception in 2008.
