I have to say “Punk Never Dies” by Cloud delivers on the hype. This track has the perfect balance of classic punk energy with a polished modern sound that works really well.

The first thing that caught my attention was the drumming. Alexandre Di Pasquale, who I learned is from France, brings serious power to this song. His playing drives everything forward with this relentless energy that never feels overdone. You can tell he knows exactly when to hold back. Also, when to let loose, which gives the whole track a great dynamic flow.

Cloud’s vocals fit the music perfectly. The lyrics about having no future and not caring hit that sweet spot of rebellious without being overly dramatic. When he repeats those lines, it feels authentic rather than forced. There’s true emotion behind the words that makes you believe what he’s saying.

The guitar work from Luis adds another strong layer to the mix. The riffs have bite but they’re also melodic, which keeps the song from being just noise. What I appreciate most is how you can hear the punk influences clearly, but Cloud isn’t just copying what came before. He’s taking those elements and making something that feels relevant right now.
