Psych trio Wisconsin Space Program put out their first full-length earlier this month, and the band pull heavily from late 60’s and early 70’s pop and rock for their debut. With songs that can make you get lost in a haze, thanks to layered vocals and lots of vamp, the band’s veteran musicianship gets amplified by exploring the facets of psychedelia. At its core, though, there’s simple, well-crafted songwriting that creates the foundation of this record, and it plays out perfectly.
