Electronic producer Lil G Mills dropped their first full-length beat tape this week, and no genre is left out in the cold on this one. Elements of dubstep, hip hop, drum and bass, breakbeats all fuse together for a wild mashup on the 12-track tape. Nothing seems to stay in one lane, either, diverting from hip hop beats to loud, glitchy electro synths in the blink of an eye. “Zig Zag” feels like an appropriate name here, as the producer moves from one element to the next without warning.
