Mudy is back, experimenting with the softer side of her sound on “Apologies In Advance.” The pair of songs leans into her R&Bs side, trading out her razor-sharp raps for sultry harmonies instead. “No Name” is sleek and sophisticated, and “Incomplete” is about moving on from heartbreak. On both songs, she maintains the confidence that she emits when she raps, but seems to thrive taking a gentler approach as well. R&B Mudy is something we didn’t know that we needed as much as we do.
