VIDEO: Mr. Nice Guy With Dana Coppafeel
One of our contributors, Ben Slowey, is more than on top of the local music scene. In addition to his work for Breaking And Entering, he also hosts the Mr. Nice Guy podcast, an interview-based show that reaches out to Milwaukeeans for conversations about what motivates them. Many of these shows fittingly involve the local music scene, and we’ll be sharing some of them here as well.
Today, Ben talks to hip hop artist Dana Coppafeel, who has been involved with Milwaukee, Madison, and Rockford music for over three decades. His last full length project was with Vincent Van Great, 2018’s “A Tape Called Fresh”. They had a few beers as we discussed the joys of living secluded, Dana’s vast music career, working with artists that invest in themselves, working with Vincent Van Great, and some solo stuff he’s working on now.
