VIDEO: Violent Femmes – “I’m Nothing”

If you were unaware, Milwaukee legends Violent Femmes got their big break when they were discovered while busking on the street in front of the Oriental Theatre by James Honeyman-Scott of The Pretenders. Decades later, the band came back to that original spot for their new video, “I’m Nothing”. In addition to that piece of Milwaukee nostalgia, the clip features the band performing at Black Cat Alley, along with legendary skateboarder Stefan Janoski cruising the East Side and Bay View, and cameos from notable Milwaukeeans, including Lex Allen and Amelinda Burich of Detenzione. The song comes from the band’s “Hotel Last Resort” album, which is out today as well. Check out the video for “I’m Nothing” below;
