Well this is a shot in the arm if there ever was one. Milwaukee hardcore act Mud Dog recently released their debut album, “Survive”, and it is absolutely relentless. A combination of fierce guitars and high speed aggression, this is everything that you want from a hardcore album rolled into one spot. The slower spots in songs are heavy, and the faster sections are full speed ahead when they transition in. Only one song is over three minutes, and you wouldn’t even know it from the sound of the crushing “Descend”. If you’re a hardcore or thrash fan, this is your album. Check out “Survive” below:
