The momentum seems to be moving in the right direction for Milwaukee indie pop outfit Clear Pioneer. The band played Summerfest this year on the Rebel Stage, released an addicting, catchy single in “Tacoma” following that, and now have their sophomore EP, “Clouded Mouth” out to the world. While the EP’s title track serves as a euphoric, mood-building intro, the rest of the project is a pure pop dance party. The combination of electronic production and analog blend well with one another. If you like just a bit of 80’s retro glaze on your indie pop, “Clouded Mouth” is a must-listen. Check out the EP below:
