The intersection of hip hop, indie, funk, and pop is a glorious one, with projects like Broken Bells, Gnarls Barkley, and more residing their comfortably, making tremendous music in the process. A new name that could feasibly added to that genre-blending intersection is False8o, the side project of NONOYEAHOKAY’s Colin Plant and LMNTlyst. The first release from the duo, “Zonin'” is incredibly well crafted, with the production matching Plant’s singing style perfectly.
